Class Two's First Trip of the Year

Our first trip of the year was to visit the allotment to see what we could harvest in the autumn.  We picked corn on the cob, potatoes, onions, raspberries, borlotti beans and apples.

There were lots of fresh raspberries to pick and eat in the allotment at the beginning of autumn.

We also picked fresh sweetcorn before the weather gets too cold.

At the allotment we grew Italian borlotti beans which are great for stews.
