🌟 Welcome to Emerald Class 🌟
Our class is made up of Year 4 and Year 5 pupils, taught by Mr Northcott, Mrs Robinson and Miss Tighe.

Mondays – Swimming

Tuesdays – Football
Please ensure your child:

Brings their swimming kit on Mondays.

Wears their P.E. kit on Tuesdays.

Removes all jewellery (including earrings).

Has long hair tied back for lessons.
✍️ Spellings

New spellings will be given out each Monday.
-
They will be tested at the end of the week.
-
A homework sheet will be provided and should be completed by Friday.

Spellings will also be practised in class, but regular practice at home is essential.

This app helps children to develop quick recall of multiplication and division facts.

Particularly important for Year 4 pupils, who will take the Multiplication Tables Check in June.

Please ensure the app is downloaded and used regularly.

Login details are stuck in your child’s reading record.
📚 Reading Books
Children are given books matched to their reading ability.

Please encourage your child to read at home several times per week.

Record their progress in their reading record.

Children are also welcome to read their own books or other materials they enjoy.
